SJC And Tre Cool present Mike Dirnt Custom Kit For Christmas
Being on SJC's roster himself, Tre Cool has his own signature kit and snare designed by the Massachusetts drum manufacturers, combining his trademark sound with his outlandish style and aesthetic.
Tre Cool's signature 'Cookies and Cream' and 'Houndstooth' snares provide a bright and punchy tone supported by warm mids and smooth lows. Its custom manufacture and meticulous specifications allow drummers to be closer than ever to achieving the sticksman's own definitive sound. Designed in direct collaboration with Tre, his signature drums perfectly replicate his nuanced tone and playing style.
Through the collaboration with SJC, Tre Cool created an entirely custom drum kit that has enabled him to create it to his exact specification. This service is readily available to all those who shop at Gear4music. You can find all the necessary information on how to make your custom drum kit at our SJC ' Build Your Drums ' page.
Whilst obviously enthusiastic for his newly designed kit, Mike Dirnt is most often associated with his bass playing capabilities and his role as Green Days long time bassist. Mike's signature bass, the ' Fender Road Worn Precision Bass ' was created in a collaborative effort with international guitar titans Fender .
Striving to achieve a bass that replicated the gnarly playing style and powerful tone of Dirnt, Fender made the bass to 4 stringers' exact specifications. Featuring volcanic custom style '59 split single-coil pickups, the bass achieves a distinctive and commanding tone that cuts through the mix every time. Besides its capacity for producing Mike's definitive vintage style growl, the bass plays a specific emphasis on playability. Its side-mounted output jack, custom neck plate and "C" shaped profile further emphasize an ergonomic playing style, encouraging the player to focus on their performance.
Speaking of the Christmas gift on his own Instagram account, Dirnt stated:
"This Xmas @sjcdrums and @trecool made me a sick drum kit designed to look like my bass!!! So excited to set her up and rock out"
