Sam Smith Confirmed for New James Bond Spectre Song
The artist had announced on social network Twitter that “This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song.” The tweet announcing the news prompted 14,000 favourites and 7,914 retweets respectively.
It is the latest achievement in Sam Smith’s accelerated career that boasts four Grammy Awards along with his debut album ‘The Lonely Hour’, which was in the UK’s top 10 album chart for 67 weeks.
The trailer for the latest Bond film, featuring Daniel Craig as 007, has been doing its rounds in cinema screens and the worldwide web respectively ahead of its UK release on October 26th 2015.
