Sarm Studios to get digital makeover
Sarm Studios in Notting Hill, London, is to bring itself bang up to date by remodelling five of its studios into two state-of-the-art studios with the latest kits that will blow the mind of musicians.
Trevor Horn, who owns the studios, told the Sun the multi-million pound revamp would help keep it relevant in an age where digital technology dominates the music business.
His daughter Ally Horn told the newspaper: "We're hoping Sarm will be born again for the digital age, so we can cater for the next generation. We've always been cutting edge and it's about keeping up with that."
With a rich history of stars passing through its doors, including Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Take That and Blur, Sarm Studios hopes to continue being a place where musicians make some of their classic his.
