Sir Paul McCartney announces UK live dates
Electric guitar legend Sir Paul McCartney has announced plans for a series of dates around the UK and Ireland later this year.
The Beatles star is to kick off his 'Up and Coming' tour with a visit to the Dublin RDS on June 12th 2010, before moving on to headline the Isle of Wight Festival the next day.
McCartney will then play Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 20th, followed by a show at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium six days later.
A busy month for the electric guitar player will be rounded off at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in London on June 27th.
"It's always brilliant to play for the home crowd and these dates are ones that me and the band are really excited about," Sir Paul stated.
