Slash and Will.i.am team up for charity version of Who song
Electric guitar player Slash has joined forces with Black Eyed Peas' rapper Will.i.am to record a cover of classic Who song My Generation for charity.
The proceeds from their version will go towards helping the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake and the song is set to be unveiled during next month's Superbowl.
Electric guitar legends The Who are performing the half-time show at the American football event, leading to speculation that Will.i.am and Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash may be joining them on stage.
Will.i.am revealed that the new version of My Generation will have some definite changes compared to the original.
"I altered the lyrics to fit my generation now," he said, adding: "I loved that song way before this even came up."
