Slash to join Ozzy on tour
Electric guitar legend Slash has been confirmed as the support act for Ozzy Osbourne's tour of North America in early 2011.
The former Guns N' Roses star will open up for the heavy metal vocalist at every show on the 18-date jaunt, which kicks off in Omaha on January 16th and runs until February 22nd.
Fans of Slash will no doubt be looking forward to the famous axeman playing his trademark Gibson Les Paul and performing tracks from his recent eponymous solo album.
The record, which was released in March this year, features a collaboration with Osbourne entitled Crucify the Dead.
Before the January and February tour, the former Black Sabbath frontman is set to embark on a set of concerts in Canada and the US with Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford as his support act.
Osbourne also has a new album to promote, as his tenth studio LP Scream was released in June.
