Slash to promote solo album with tour
Electric guitar player Slash is to take to the road in support of his first ever solo album.
According to the former Guns N' Roses star, the new LP will be released in April 2010.
Writing on his Facebook page, the Gibson Les Paul player said the record will be promoted with a series of tour dates.
"I want to play all over," he commented.
Slash has collaborated with a number of big names for the record, including Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Steven Adler, Dave Grohl and Flea.
Meanwhile, the rock legend has ruled out the possibility of reforming with Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose.
Speaking to GQ magazine, he said he has not spoken to the vocalist for more than a decade.
Slash added that he has turned down hundreds of millions of dollars to reunite the band.
"I don't think there's ever a chance of a reunion," he insisted.
Slash's current band Velvet Revolver is on hiatus at the moment following the departure of singer Scott Weiland.Posted on 11 Jan 2010 16:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
