Small Town Moon: Regina Spektor's most recent offering
The track is perhaps more in keeping with her traditional style than recently released number All The Rowboats, which is sure to delight some fans.
"How can I leave without hurting everyone who made me?" is the refrain of Spektor's fresh song, which can currently be heard online.
It is the first song on her LP, What We Saw from the Cheap Seats, which also features The Prayer Of Francois Villon and Call Them Brothers.
Spektor's album is going to be arriving later this month. Its cover art features a front-on portrait of the singer, wearing a striped top and peaked hat. Her previous records include Far (her most recent) and Begin to Hope.
As well as All The Rowboats – which has its own music video – Spektor has previously let fans hear the song Don't Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas), from the Cheap Seats record.
