Stars appear at Fender Showcase event
A host of famous musicians appeared at the Fender Showcase in California in the past week.
According to the musical instrument manufacturer's official blog FrontRow, among the stars to turn up at the event was Blink 182 bass guitar player Mark Hoppus, as well as singer-songwriter Keith Urban.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd put on a live performance at the show, making use of his Fender Stratocaster as part of the gig.
Former Guns N' Roses star Duff McKagan was also in attendance and the Velvet Revolver bass guitar player was happy to pose for photos with indie band The Duke Spirit, who had also made their way to the Fender Showcase.
"Since [Duke Spirit members] Luke, Toby and Marc mentioned being big fans of Duff McKagan, we made sure to connect them all when McKagan arrived for his interview and autograph session. Turns out McKagan was a fan of theirs too," the blog explained.
The Duke Spirit, who are led by frontwoman Liela Moss, are set to return to the UK shortly, with a string of gigs planned in February.
They are due to play shows in London, Southampton, Leeds and Glasgow as part of their touring commitments.
