Stereophonics look forward to Cardiff gig
Electric guitar player Kelly Jones has said he is looking forward to playing a gig in his home city.
Stereophonics will take to the stage at Cardiff Castle tonight, where they will be sure to treat fans to hits such as Dakota, Have a Nice Day and Just Looking.
Speaking to the Sun, he revealed that the band had been hoping to play at the venue last year, but this never happened because officials were worried that the noise could lead to windows shattering.
However, he said this problem has now been resolved and that the band will be able to perform.
"I'm really looking forward to it," Jones commented.
"It feels like a wedding - I looked at the guest list and there are so many Joneses on there."
Stereophonics, who are gearing up to release their new album in November, first performed at Cardiff Castle back in 1998, where they attracted a 10,000-strong crowd.Posted on 3 Oct 2009 09:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
