Steve Winwood To Tour Nord C2D With Steely Dan
With more than 50 years of experience in the rock 'n' roll business, Steve Winwood is a respected innovator and muiti-instrumentalist with an impressive catalogue of popular music achievements.
He has worked alongside the likes of Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker as well as enjoying a purple patch with his solo work with hits such as; 'Back In The High Life' and 'When You See the Chance'.
And so it is no surprise that for Steve's forthcoming tour with Steely Dan that he is choosing the Nord C2D Combo Organ to be his instrument of choice.
"The Nord C2D is the most adaptable keyboard I’ve ever come across." he says. "It can be a tone-wheel organ, a vintage euro organ, a pipe organ or two attached, programmable midi keyboards, all of which I make use of at various times, and its internal sounds are infinitely useable".
As well his tour with Steely Dan, June also sees the 30th Anniversary of Steve’s Grammy Award winning solo album “Back In The High Life”. Steve is currently working on re-cuts of material from these sessions.
