Stolen Pearl Jam guitar found
Ben Hardy's1972 Fender Telecaster had been gifted to his late brother Josh 19 years ago during a trip that had been organised by the Make-A-Wish-Foundation.
Tragically, Josh, a huge music fan, passed away three months later from a brain tumour.
The electric guitar had been taken during a burglary of his home.
Writing on his Facebook page, an elated Ben said: "Received a phone call from Burlington Police. They have found my stolen items, including the Telecaster!"
He added: "The individual who had possession of the Telecaster had taken it apart partially and removed the autographs; it's staying with the BPD as evidence to help put the guy away on parole violation."
Ben thanked everyone who took part in spreading the news of his missing Fender Telecaster, citing Facebook as being integral in its return.
Pearl Jam are one of the biggest American rock bands to have emerged in the 90s. They made their name with their breakthrough debut studio album, Ten.
