Summer NAMM 2016: Boss Release Waza Craft CE-2W Chorus Pedal
Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world's first chorus effect pedal but it was the very first Boss pedal. Three years down the line and Boss introduced the blue CE-2 Chorus to the world.
Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. And now in celebration of 40 years of Boss innovation, the iconic pedal manufacturer has announced the CE-2W Waza Craft edition of this cult classic.
The special edition CE-2W is produced in Japan and boasts new sounds not available in the original pedals, stereo output and variable depth for CE-1 chorus sounds. The pedal also faithfully replications the legendary CE-2 sound.
The CE-2W features premium all-analog circuitry with bucket-brigade delay line.
In Japan, “Waza” is the term for art and technique, and these special edition pedals proudly carry the Waza symbol to represent the pinnacle of BOSS design and craftsmanship.
