TC Helicon launches 'Modern Performance' Vocal Mics
TC Helicon has announced the brand new Modern Performance vocal microphones.
The MP-70 and MP-75 have been designed with the modern performer in mind. Both mics have been engineered to bring out the best in studio quality vocal processing.
The TC Helicon MP-70 Modern Performance Microphone features a super-cardioid dynamic capsule, 50Hz - 18kHz frequency response and a patented neodymium magnet structure for high output.
Next in line is the TC Helicon MP-75 Modern Performance Microphone which features a unique 'Mic Control' circuit allowing singers to trigger TC Helicon vocal effects pedals remotely via the mic.
The switch will control various different parameters depending on the pedal. On the VoiceLive Touch it will allow you to trigger the single-button looper or any other shortcut.
Featuring a Zinc die-cast body, both mics are rugged enough to stand up to constant live performance, yet light enough to retain comfort.
Unlike most dynamic microphones, the Modern Performance mics are specially tuned to deal with modern vocal effects thanks to their off-axis noise rejection and feedback suppression.
Both the MP-70 and MP75 will be available February 2011 and have an expected RRP of £105 and £139 respectively.Posted on 18 Nov 2010 17:00 to category : Instruments News
