Talented musician wants to form a band

A talented musician who plays a number of music instruments is on the lookout for people interested in forming a band with her.
Great deals on musical instruments

Although she could probably form a band of her own given her amazing ability to play a multitude of music instruments, an aspiring young musician is on the hunt for others to come join her in forming a group.

Stevie Jo Dooley, from Lansdown in Bath, plays the piano, alto sax, accordion and double bass as well as writing jazz songs, reported the Bath Chronicle.

Her talents haven't gone unnoticed and she has won a place on the prestigious Royal Academy junior jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Only 16, she is keen on getting together a band to play at festivals and gigs.

Ms Dooley told the newspaper: "It is not as much fun playing on your own, which is why I want to find people to join me.

"I am finding it hard to find other people with the same interest in the type of music I like."

She is particularly distinct in the qualities she desires in possible bandmates, and is seeking someone on the drums who is into world music and a guitarist who loves Jimi Hendrix.

A planned biopic of Jimi Hendrix now looks uncertain after the musician's estate blocked plans for it to go ahead.
