The Cribs to release singles collection
The Wakefield trio will launch the compilation record in 2013 which will contain an eclectic mix of fan favourites and classic tracks and the band have taken an interesting stand by leaving some of their biggest hits out in favour of other crowd-friendly songs.
Speaking of the release, bassist and single Gary Jarman told NME: "It definitely appealed to my OCD nature, to try and get everything in one place and make something cohesive. We tracked down all our favourite photos from the last ten years – which I hate doing, I hate looking at photos of myself. We had to be brutal."
Payola will consist of two discs with the first containing singles from the band's past five albums while the second CD will be choc full of B-sides and rare tracks from the group's career.
Cribs fans will be happy to know the likes of Our Bovine Public, Hey Scenesters! and I'm A Realist have all made the cut.
The band recently released their fifth studio album In The Belly of the Brazen Bull in May 2012.
