The Darkness announce UK tour dates
Justin Hawkins and co will hit the country's shores in March 2013 for a six-date tour kicking off at Sheffield City Hall (March 1st) and culminating in a final show at London's Hammersmith Apollo on March 7th.
The gigs are part of the band's Let Them Eat Cake world tour, starting in January in the US before moving on to Europe and finishing up in Australia and New Zealand in April.
Since their burst on to the rock scene in 2003 with their number one album Permission To Land, which included classic tunes such as I Believe In A Thing Called Love and Growing On Me, the band have gone through turbulent times.
Hawkins left the band in 2006 to form Hot Leg and also launched a failed attempt in 2007 to appear as Great Britain's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The Darkness reformed in 2011 with all their original members and have since opened for Lady Gaga on her European tour and also released their third studio album Hot Cakes in August 2012.
Tickets go on sale on Friday (November 9th).
