The Drums guitarist replaced
The Drums guitarist Adam Kessler has left the band, and a replacement has been announced.
It was confirmed the musician has parted ways with the 'It Will All End In Tears' group - which also features Jonathan Pierce, Jacob Graham and Connor Hanwick - this weekend, while on tour in the US.
A friend of the group, Tom Haslow, has since been announced as a stand in for Adam while the band complete their present tour, which is scheduled to run until October 22.
Frontman Jonathan told NME magazine Adam's departure was "a harsh thing to accept", and described his replacement simply as: "A kid from New York who I've known for a few years".
A longer statement regarding Adam's departure on the group's website read: "There have been some questions as to recent events and we are sorry to say that Adam has left the Drums.
"Jonny, Jacob and Connor are devastated and are keeping to themselves and with friends at this time. The band is currently on the road in America. Thank you for all of the support, it means a lot."
The Drums also confirmed they will honour their scheduled tour dates in the Europe during November and December.Posted on 20 Sep 2010 16:30 to category : Music News
