The Edge joins Muse for Glastonbury show
U2 guitar player The Edge joined Muse on stage at Glastonbury over the weekend.
His band had been due to headline the festival on the Friday night but had to pull out after lead singer Bono suffered a bad back injury.
As a result, Muse who were the headline act on Saturday invited The Edge to play with them as part of their encore and together they played a cover of U2 hit Where The Streets Have No Name.
The guitarist was given no initial introduction by Muse frontman Matt Bellamy but at the end of the song, he told the crowd: "This is our friend The Edge."
There were plenty of other colloborations that took place this year at the festival, with the highlights for festival-goers including Kylie Minogue performing with Scissor Sisters and Florence Welch coming on stage to sing with The xx.
Glastonbury was closed this year with a set from Stevie Wonder.
