The Fratellis announce UK tour in 2013
It is the first jaunt across the country since the band went on hiatus in 2009 and gets underway at London's Electric Ballroom on April 11th then visits the likes of Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool before ending with a homecoming show at Glasgow Barrowland on April 19th.
The Scottish trio announced a break from music after they finished their touring cycle of their Here We Stand record but are currently in the process of writing a new album which will follow on from the 2008 effort.
Front man Jon Fratelli told NME: "We've not changed in any way that is going to challenge people too much and you can't really expect people to buy into what you are doing and then completely change it. You do enough to keep them motivated and interested."
The Fratellis burst onto the scene in 2006 at the height of the indie craze and received rave reviews for their Costello Music record and were made famous by tracks such as Chelsea Dagger and Whistle For The Choir.
Tickets for the April shows go on sale on Friday (December 6th).
