The Kills 'nearing completion of next record'
Electric guitar player Alison Mosshart has revealed The Kills are making good progress with their next record.
Mosshart is currently heavily involved with side-project The Dead Weather, a band that are set to release their second album next month before an appearance at Glastonbury later this year.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, the musician said The Kills are around three-quarters of the way through recording their next album and will finish it once her current tour with The Dead Weather comes to a close.
"We always try to make a record that sounds totally different than the one before it or anything we've ever done, so that's usually the hard part, finding that new thing to do," she said of her work in The Kills with bandmate Jamie Hince.
Her other band, The Dead Weather, are currently touring the US, with future dates set to include an appearance at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on May 2nd 2010.Posted on 26 Apr 2010 19:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
