The Kooks ask fans to choose gig venues
Electric guitar band The Kooks are asking their fans to select the venues they will play on their next UK tour.
The indie group are planning to perform a series of intimate shows across the country next month and have set up an online suggestion page to see where people want them to appear, reports NME.
When the details of the run of gigs has been finalised, the tour dates will be published on the band's official Facebook page.
Details of where shows are happening will only be announced two or three days ahead of them taking place.
A new album from the Brighton-based four-piece is due to be released later this year.
It has been produced by Tony Hoffer, who has previously worked with the likes of Belle and Sebastian, Beck and Air.
The Kooks are expected to debut some of their new material when they go on tour during May.
In the summer, the electric guitar band are lined up for a number of festival appearances across Europe.
They will play sets at events in Spain, Germany, Portugal and Poland between May and August, although no British festival dates have yet been confirmed.
