The Rolling Stones confirm second Hyde Park date
Mick Jagger and co will take to the stage on July 13th as part of the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time festival which will see support come in the form of Jake Bugg, Tom Odell and The 1975.
It goes alongside the previously announced gig on July 6th and those looking to get their hands on tickets for the second performance will be able to when general sale goes live at 9am on Friday (April 12th).
Despite the minimum price of £95, eager fans snapped up the 65,000 tickets in the space of three minutes and promoters have moved to alleviate fears that VIP tickets could restrict the view of those of going in at general admission.
Rob Hallett, AEG Live promoter, said: "The people who coughed up for hospitality packages will get looked after in a way they have never known before. But when the doors open, if you can run faster than the next guy, it will be like any other general admission gig. You will get down front."
The Rolling Stones are also set to headline this year's Glastonbury festival along with other bill toppers Arctic Monkeys and Mumford and Sons.
