The Specials announce UK tour
The ska legends will start their jaunt round the country at Glasgow's Barrowland on May 10th 2013 before continuing through the likes of Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham and Portsmouth before finishing at London's O2 Academy Brixton on May 28th.
It is the first time the band have announced a full UK tour since they stated that they had decided against quitting live shows with guitarist Lynval Golding telling BBC 6 Music that they were in "a completely different mood" and were not thinking of splitting.
The band are legendary within the music scene after pioneering the British ska sound of the late 1970s and 1980s.
They scored a string of top ten singles including number ones in the UK charts with both Ghost Town and Too Much Too Young.
They announced their reformation in 2009 and have played to audiences at the likes of Glastonbury and the 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony since then.
Tickets for the May tour go on sale at 9am on Friday (December 7th).
