The Stone Roses reunion edges closer to reality
That time might be now.
After much speculation over the last year, rumours that The Stone Roses are getting back together again appear to be backed up by truth.
Speaking to the Sun, the magician Dynamo – one of Ian Brown's best pals – said: "We are going to rule the world again. it's happening."
He told the tabloid newspaper's showbiz editor the revelatory news at The Feeling, a nightclub in east London.
Dynamo added: "He said it's true. It is definitely happening. Ian's on great form. I'll be at the gigs. It's going to be massive."
In April this year it was reported that Brown and John Squire, who played guitar in the band, had decided to put the past behind them and rekindle their friendship.
The Stone Roses only ever released two studio albums, which included their eponymous debut and the follow up Second Coming.
