The Strokes new album to be released in 2013
The New York quintet are due to unleash their follow-up to 2011's Angles in the coming months and the news provider stated that it will be preceded by the single All The Time which could be aired in the US soon.
Seattle's 107.7 radio station claimed that it had been sent the new track and posted on its Facebook page that it would "have to 'leak'" it soon while adding that fans "won't be disappointed".
Members of the band confirmed to NME in the summer that they were working on the fifth record, but reports that they had been working at the Electric Lady Studios in New York were denied by the management.
The Strokes have had notable success with their previous albums with 2001's Is This It? being deemed as one of the best albums of the decade by NME.
It was followed up with Room on Fire and First Impressions of Earth with the former containing classic tracks such as Reptilia, 12:51 and The End Has No End.
