Indie band The Subways are one of the new acts that have been confirmed for this year's Kendal Calling festival.
The group will also be joined at the event by Erland, a band who have former Verve guitar player Simon Tong among their ranks, as well as rising star Danny Fontaine and hip-hop samplers Chiddy Bang.
They all join a line-up that already includes Doves, Calvin Harris and The Coral as headliners.
Other artists who will be playing for fans at the festival are The Futureheads, Badly Drawn Boy and British Sea Power.
The line-ups for several of the stages at the event are still to be confirmed, although it has been revealed the Dance Tent will feature the likes of Erol Alkan, DJ Yoda and High Contrast.
Kendal Calling takes place between July 30th and August 1st 2010 in Lowther Deer Park, which is situated in the Lake District.Posted on 20 May 2010 20:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
