The Voice gigs coming up

Tom Jones appears on the BBC One show that has sparked the gigs.
Sheffield, London and Brighton are among the places that The Voice is set to grace as part of a tour later this year.

Featuring the ex-contestants of the current Saturday night favourite, the concerts kick off on September 12th and will also take in Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Glasgow and Bournemouth (the location for the tour's opening night).

Last weekend The Voice appeared on both Saturday and Sunday as the competitors moved closer to the final weeks of the competition to find a new singing star.

It's Not Unusual and Sex Bomb singer Tom Jones judges on the show, as does Jessie J (Price Tag, Domino). Danny O'Donoghue of The Script and will.i.am join them in this role.

Eight Voice finalists will feature on the tour - those remaining on the programme longest.

People will be able to pick up their seat in the audience later this week, when tickets are released.

Fellow music programme The X Factor – which will feature Take That's Gary Barlow as a judge this year - also has a tradition of running a post-season tour.
