A host of bands have signed up to perform charity gigs for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Between February and March, bands and solo acts including electric guitar player Noel Gallagher, indie band Arctic Monkeys and rock legends The Who will perform at the Royal Albert Hall to raise money for the good cause.

Other acts announced for the shows include The Specials, Them Crooked Vultures and Depeche Mode.

Roger Daltrey, lead singer of The Who, is the brainchild behind the annual event and said he was delighted with the response on the tenth anniversary of the concerts.

"In the last ten years we've raised over £8.7 million, helping Teenage Cancer Trust to open nine more specialist cancer units for young people across the UK," he stated.

Last month, it was announced that electric guitar band Suede would be reforming for the first time in nearly a decade to play at the event.
