The Who planning 'celebratory' set list at the Super Bowl
Electric guitar player Pete Townshend has revealed that The Who are planning to bring out the hits in their upcoming Super Bowl half-time show.
The band will be playing on February 7th 2010 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami during the interval in the game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.
Speaking to Billboard magazine electric guitar player Townshend revealed fans around the world can expect a medley of The Who's greatest hits when the show is broadcast.
"A bit of Baba O'Riley, a bit of Pinball Wizard, a bit of the close of Tommy, a bit of Who Are You, and a bit of Won't Get Fooled Again," he said.
Townshend added that he hoped the performance would have a "celebratory vibe" giving the audience the chance to "go a bit wild".
