The xx announce Manchester residency
The band will play a number of intimate shows across the north-west city between June 4th and 21st 2013, performing to crowds of no more than 100 people, making these much sought-after gigs.
Fans can get their hands on tickets for the shows from next January and can find out more information about the dates at Mit.co.uk.
Manchester International Festival was originally formed in 2007, taking place every two years, showcasing original new work focusing on art and music, with one of the first ever events being a performance by Gorillaz at Manchester Opera House.
Since then the event has seen performances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Björk, Wu Lyf and Damon Albarn and 2013's festival is set to be no different.
Prior to the intimate residency, The xx are due to set out on a five-date headline tour of the UK in December, kicking off at the Brighton Dome on December 8th before finishing at the O2 Academy in Brixton on December 16th.
