Tinchy Stryder wants Black Eyed track
Tinchy Stryder wants to work with Black Eyed Peas.
The 'Take Me Back' singer says there are many artists he would love to team up with, but at the moment, the 'Boom Boom Pow' hitmakers are top of his list.
He said: "It changes from day to day, but right now I'm listening to a lot of Black Eyed Peas, so I'd say them.
Tinchy loves collaborating with other stars, but singles out Taio Cruz as his favourite because they had similar ways of working.
He explained: "It was great to work with someone like Taio Cruz because he is just a great songwriter.
We could just talk about a song, I'd write a verse and record it or whatever then he'd hear where I'm coming from and tell me his ideas and we just got on and it worked really well. It's not the same with all artists - some people that I've been in the studio with just come in, do their part then leave."
Having achieved a number one single in the UK at the age of just 22, Tinchy insists the best is yet to come from him and he is constantly searching for new goals.
He explained: "I think no matter what you're doing, especially with music, that there's never an end to anything.
"As soon as you achieve something you just move onto the next and you've got to keep focused and working hard. I'd love to have a No.1 album and then just keep progressing from there. People go through their whole careers without getting to No.1 so I'm proud of that."Posted on 25 Jan 2010 07:30 to category : Music News
