Titanic Composer Dies in Plane Crash

Oscar-award winning composer, James Horner has died in a plane crash in California.

The plane had crashed in the Los Padres National Forest, sparking a bush fire that had to be put out by the fire service, according to emergency services.

Horner, who had written music for two of the two biggest grossing films in history; Titanic and Avatar. He also had incredible success with A Beautiful Mind, Braveheart Aliens and more as he was nominated a further eight times.

The Internet Movie Database credited James Horner with 158 composer credits and 95 soundtrack credits in all.

Singer Celine Dion, who worked with Horner on Titanic said she was “deeply saddened” by this tragedy.
