U2 planning new album
Electric guitar player The Edge has revealed U2 are already looking at songs for their next album.
The veteran Irish group released their most recent LP No Line on the Horizon earlier this year and secured a hit single with Get on Your Boots.
However, The Edge has revealed that there are lots of songs from the sessions for the record which still have not yet been completed.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, he described some of the tracks as "amazing" and said he would like to finish them at some point.
Drummer Larry Mullen has also expressed a desire to return to the studio and complete the unfinished tracks.
"I definitely think we should do something good as soon as we possibly can," he commented.
The Edge added that some of the tracks date from the No Line on the Horizon sessions in Morocco, while others were done in the studio with Rick Rubin, producer of acts including Metallica and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.Posted on 2 Oct 2009 13:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
