Violin player remixes Nokia tune
Lukas Kmit, a Slovakian musician, was midway through an exquisite performance, captivating his audience with his deft skills, when one of the most frowned upon incidences occurred – someone's mobile went off.
However, testament to his character, Mr Kmit, showing he had a sense of humour to match his talent, added what can only be described as a remix to his show.
After the performance he received a standing ovation, to which he humbly bowed. He could well be a major star in the making.
The video has gone viral on YouTube, racking up nearly a million views.
It is in stark contrast to a similar incident earlier this month when the New York Philharmonic brought its delightful rendition of Mahler's 9th Symphony to a grinding halt until the ringing stopped.
The conductor's actions were understandable as the piece of music was about to enter a silent period – the ringing would have ruined that.
