WATCH - NAMM 2015: Orange Amplification Crush Amps with CabSim
The Crush 20 and Crush 20RT practice amps feature a custom 8" speaker and a CabSim feature which recreates the muscle of an Orange 4x12 cab through your headphones. The Crush 20RT also has reverb and an integrated chromatic tuner.
Available from just £79, the new range of Orange Crush amps starts with the Crush 12 combo amp, the smallest of models with a custom 6" Voice of the World speaker and a no-nonsense attitude to analog tone.
The twin-channel Crush 35RT pairs a high-gain preamp with beefy 35 watt, 10" speaker. The Crush 12 and 35T also include the CabSim feature, and all four new full-format Crush models are also available in Black.
Moving on to the new OB1 rack-mountable bass amp heads, in 300 ( OB1-300) and 500 watt ( OB1-500) varieties. Taking up less room but with a footswitchable Blend circuit which adds controllable gain and increased harmonic content, key to the OB1's sound, the 2U rack dimension amp heads share the same features.
Building on the Orange SmartPower series, the OBC212 is their best isobaric bass cab yet. With one speaker positioned behind the other, an airtight chamber is created, resulting in outstanding projection.
