We Are Scientists and The Courteeners set for Isle of Wight Festival
Electric guitar bands The Courteeners and We Are Scientists are among the latest acts to be added to the bill for this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
Both groups are set to play on the Main Stage on Friday June 10th ahead of a headline set from Kings of Leon, while Band of Horses will also be appearing on the same day.
Saturday's Main Stage line-up is also taking shape, with its new additions being Mike and the Mechanics and Big Country.
Further acts set to descend on the Isle of Wight for the bash include ABC, The Cult, Wonderland, Edei, Springbok Nude Girls and Various Cruelties.
Tickets for the event, which is taking place between June 10th and 12th, sold out last month after an impressive list of headliners were announced.
Along with chart-toppers Kings of Leon, electric guitar stars Foo Fighters and indie boys Kasabian will be performing.
Further sets for fans to look forward to will come from the recently-reformed Pulp, Liam Gallagher's new band Beady Eye and Welsh veterans Manic Street Preachers.
Festival promoter John Giddings said: "It's fantastic to sell out five months in advance."
