Win a Yamaha THR5 Guitar Amp
Great Deals on Yamaha Amps
Win a newly released Yamaha THR5 Guitar Amp in Gear4music.com's latest competition. To enter simply visit the Yamaha THR5 Guitar Amp page and click the Facebook 'Like' button to the right of the product page; then send an email with the subject line "THR" to comps@gear4music.com. The competition is open from 9am on Tuesday 8th November until 2pm on Friday 11th November. The Yamaha THR range promises to revolutionise the world of guitar practice with outstanding tone at a manageable volume. Virtual Circuitry Modeling has been used to capture ever subtle nuance of the real amp, that a basic digital emulations can never achieve. As a result, this diminutive, low volume amp sounds as close to that classic analog gear as possible without owning the real thing. On board amp models include some of the most recognisable sounds of guitar history, including Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brit Hi and Modern. 10 VCM effects are included on board, based on the same technology used in Yamaha's professional audio mixers, ranging from hall sized reverb to classic tremolo. The THR series was built in conjunction with Yamaha's award winning AV division, providing real hi-fi sound, with a specially designed speaker optimised for both guitar and stereo playback. With the addition of either AC or Battery power, the THR is ideal for musicians looking for a compact, portable amp capable of handling quality backing tracks. In addition, the THR editor allows even more detailed editing of your amp models and effects. Simply hook the amp up to a computer via the on board USB and musicians can deep edit their sound.
