Seminars run on how to make the most out of a Yamaha Motif keyboard are continuing to prove popular among musicians.

The latest two-day session in Milton Keynes was a sell-out, as was the case with three previous events on this theme that took place during 2010, reports MI-Pro.

In the latest workshop - which was held on February 4th and 5th at the manufacturer's headquarters - guidance and advice on how to utilise the Yamaha Motif XF and XS instruments was provided by guest star Hannah Vasanth, who has played the keyboard as part of the backing bands of pop stars Rihanna and Jessie J.

Yamaha's Chris Irvine, one of the co-hosts of the seminars, said they offer a great opportunity for any Motif keyboard owners or people who are considering buying one of the musical instruments.

"It's also worth pointing out that these courses can benefit users of all levels, they are very democratic and equally suited to novices and advanced users," he added.

A range of topics were covered in the course, with advice given on voice editing, sampling and gaining a better understanding of how Yamaha Motif effects work.
