Yamaha debuts new studio monitor
Reporting from the event in Frankfurt, Germany, MI Pro explained that the company has introduced the monitor offering which consisted of the HS5, HS7 and HS8 models with the addition of the HS8S 150w powered subwoofer.
It builds on the success of the famous NS-10M Studio Monitors which was followed up with the critically acclaimed MSP range. The new products will give musicians an ideal stereo option making it perfect for recording at home.
The news provider explained that the new option features an advanced Low Resonance bass-reflex enclosure which is built around a three-way mitred joint technique which is usually associated with architectural design.
In tandem with the studio monitor range, Yamaha has also released the new Pocketrak portable PCM recorder, know as the PR7. This gives musicians a simple way of recording songs in the comfort of their own home or in the studio.
