Zakk Wylde: I live for the guitar
In a candid interview with the AU Review, the electric guitar maestro explained that people need to have a reason to get out of bed every morning.
"You really do. Like, when my dad retired from General Motors, that was like the worst thing that ever happened to him," the long-haired and heavily bearded rocker said.
"He was like lost. Once he got a job up at a gas station and he was back talking with people again, he had a reason to get up."
Wylde, who has jammed with greats like Ozzy Osbourne, went on to say that it was an extremely humbling experience to be referred to as a guitar-god.
The reason for his exceptional skills, he went on to say, was the simple fact that he practiced every day.
"I love playing just as much as I did at fourteen years old," he added.
In its range of music instruments, Gibson has a Zakk Wylde Les Paul Bullseye electric guitar.
