36 Crazyfists star reveals acoustic guitar and piano ambitions
Steve Holt, the lead guitarist in 36 Crazyfists, has explained he wants to get better at playing the acoustic guitar and the piano. Speaking to Alt Sounds, the star explained he loves the sound produced by the former musical instruments, but feels he needs to improve his fingerpicking abilities.
He added that he has similar feelings about the piano. Holt said he understands how the notes are structured, but his playing technique needs to be improved before he would feel comfortable singing a song while performing on the piano at the same time.
Holt explained he loves being a part of 36 Crazyfists, who have been going since 1994. He said getting the opportunity to travel is one of the best things about being a musician and he is hopeful the band will soon be travelling to some new countries they have not yet visited.
The group have recently been touring Europe, playing shows in Germany and Holland along the way.
