Biffy Clyro set for Sonisphere Festival
Electric guitar band Biffy Clyro have been announced as one of the headlining acts for next year's Sonisphere Festival.
The group, who have just completed a giant arena tour which came to a close with a sold-out gig at Wembley Arena earlier this month, have been booked to play the bash at Knebworth House on July 9th 2011.
They have steadily been building their fanbase in the UK, with their last album Only Revolutions going platinum, as well as receiving a nomination for the Mercury Prize. The Scottish group are the second act to be announced for next year's Sonisphere Festival, with Slipknot already on the bill.
Biffy Clyro are currently on tour in Australia and also have a host of dates planned in the US for early 2011. They are also gearing up to support Foo Fighters in their two mammoth shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl next July.
