Blur guitarist wants to make new album
Blur's electric guitar player has said he would be willing to rejoin his bandmates in the recording studio.
The live shows appear to have whetted his appetite to take the reunion further by recording a new album.
"I'm up for it," Coxon commented.
"It would be a really interesting thing to do."
However, he insisted that a new Blur album could not be a nostalgia trip and would have to demonstrate some form of musical development and progression.
Blur are widely regarded as one of the seminal bands of the 1990s and were behind many of the decade's most memorable records, including Parklife, Girls and Boys, Country House and Song 2.
However, the group split in 2003 and the band worked on other projects before briefly getting back together earlier this summer.
