Foo Fighters to take a break
Electric guitar player Dave Grohl has revealed that the Foo Fighters are planning to take some time out.
The rock group performed a secret show in Berlin this week ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards.
However, Grohl has hinted that this could be the last Foo Fighters gig for the immediate future, as the band members are planning to pursue individual projects for a time.
"I think we decided to take a break, not because we wanted to stop making music, but because we thought the world needed to take a break from us," he told CNN.
Grohl is currently working with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Led Zeppelin's bass guitar player John Paul Jones in Them Crooked Vultures.
Their debut album will be issued later this month, although a song called Mind Eraser, No Chaser has just been made available for free on iTunes.Posted on 7 Nov 2009 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
