I Blame Coco praise Audio Technica microphones
Pop group I Blame Coco have endorsed Audio Technica equipment on the microphone manufacturer's YouTube channel.
In a video interview on the website, lead vocalist Coco Sumner and front-of-house engineer Stuart Macauley explained the band have been using a variety of Audio Technica equipment on stage during recent performances.
This has included different microphones from across the company's Pro Series, Artist and Artist Elite range, along with an M3 in-ear monitoring system, reports MI-Pro.
Audio Technica's senior UK marketing manager Harvey Roberts said the manufacturer was delighted to number Sumner - who is the daughter of Sting - among its list of users.
"She's a great talent with a truly unique voice and we look forward to working with her and the band in 2011," he stated.
Mr Roberts added that the YouTube interview gives fans a great insight into why the Audio Technica microphones were chosen.
The hotly-tipped teenager and her group released their first LP The Constant earlier this year after recording the album in Sweden.
Sumner numbers the likes of The Killers, Duran Duran and the Psychedelic Furs among her influences, while her lyrics have been praised by former Stone Roses star Ian Brown.
