Kings of Leon preview new songs at Hyde Park show
Electric guitar band Kings of Leon gave their fans a taste of what their next album will sound like during last night's (June 30th 2010) gig in Hyde Park.
The indie stars played four unreleased tracks to the 60,000-capacity crowd which turned up to watch them in London.
They also performed tracks from across their entire back catalogue, as well as a cover of Where is My Mind? by the Pixies, reports NME.
Kings of Leon frontman and rhythm guitarist Caleb Followill told the audience that the show had been one of the best experiences of his life.
"One of these days, when we're all fat and bald ... and we're sitting in Tennessee telling all our kids about all the great things that happened to us, this is gonna be one," the musician said.
According to a spokesman for the group, tickets for the Hyde Park gig sold out "within seconds" when they went on sale earlier this year.Posted on 1 Jul 2010 19:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
