Moby's 'weird' shows

Moby finds it "weird" playing on stage with other people. The dance music artist finds it difficult to recreate his music in a live environment with a band because he creates his albums entirely on his own, playing each part separately. He said: "There are eight of us on stage so there's a string section and two vocalists and a drummer and me playing keyboards and percussion, guitar and vocals so it's quite a big show - which is strange because I make all my records by myself." Moby - who has sold over 20 million albums in his career - finds touring tiring, but tries not to complain because he can remember some of the terrible jobs he used to have. He added: "I hate to complain and I've had jobs that I've really hated, at the end of the day even a bad day of touring is better than stuffing envelopes in the basement of an insurance company - that was the worst job I ever had." The 'Go' hitmaker will also be seeing the New Year in from New Zealand, where he is one of the acts playing at Gisborne's Rhythm and Vines Festival, a three-day event which is expected to attract around 20,000 people.
