My Chemical Romance drummer leaves band
Bob Bryar, the man behind the drum kit in My Chemical Romance, has left the group, it has been announced.
Writing on the band's website, electric guitar player Frank Iero told fans that Bryar's departure had taken place four weeks ago.
"This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly," Iero said.
"We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours."
The reason for the split was not given and My Chemical Romance have yet to announce if they have found a replacement for Bryar on the drum kit.
Iero added that the band was continuing its work in the studio in the absence of Bryar and have come up with some "very powerful" new songs.
Bryar was not the first man to play the drum kit in My Chemical Romance in 2004 he joined the band as a replacement for outgoing drummer Matt Pelissier.Posted on 4 Mar 2010 16:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
