NAMM 2014: Samson Go Mic Direct Revealed

Samson's new USB mic lets you capture professional-quality audio for podcasting, YouTube, Skype, voice-recognition apps and more
The new Samson Go Mic Direct is ideal for recording on the go
A few days ago, Samson released the Meteorite, based on the Meteor USB Studio Mic. Now, the Go Mic Direct has been announced, improving on the Go Mic Portable.

Samson's new Samson Go Mic Direct USB mic lets you capture professional-quality audio for podcasting, YouTube, Skype, voice-recognition apps and more.

A smaller design, the Go Mic Direct won't block any other USB ports that you may need to use. A simple plug-and-play design means it will work as soon as you plug it in to your Mac or PC. You can also use it with your 4S or later iPad or iPhone, using a Lightning Camera Cable.

Samson's Sound Deck software is available as a free download, providing you with useful extra functions for the Go Mic Direct, including digital noise reduction and the ability to switch the Go Mic from an omnidirectional pattern to a Figure-8 pattern.
